MIRCH Decontamination Kit

$50.19 $65.47

A no-fuss, cost effective, high performing decon kit that actually works. Smooth claying, proper cleaning, leaving the surface ready for protection.

The MIRCH Decontamination Kit is a simple, no-fuss way to properly decontaminate your paint without overcomplicating the process. It brings together the core steps, lubrication, contamination removal, and surface prep into one easy system that actually works the way it should.

Inside the kit, each product has a clear role. Hydra Essence acts as your clay lubricant, but also helps break down iron and fallout at the same time. The Economax Clay block handles the physical removal, pulling bonded contamination off the surface quickly and consistently. Hades Veil then steps in to remove any remaining residue, oils, or light grime - properly cleaning the surface and leaving it ready for protection. Paired with the Aquatouch General Microfiber Cloths, you’ve got a simple, effective wipe-down that doesn’t fight you.

In practice, it’s straightforward. Wash the car first, then while the surface is still wet (or even dry if you prefer), spray Hydra Essence and work panel by panel with the clay mitt. You’ll feel the surface smooth out as contamination is removed. From there, a quick wipe with Hades Veil and a clean microfibre resets the surface completely. No heavy solvent hit, just a clean, controlled finish that’s ready for whatever comes next.

This kit is designed to be easy to use, even if it’s your first time claying. The products complement each other well, reducing the usual friction points like grabby clay, harsh prep sprays, or confusing steps. It’s suitable for all modern clear coats and paint systems, and works well as part of a regular maintenance routine or before applying any form of protection.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Start with a proper wash
Always begin with a thorough wash to remove loose dirt and grime. This step is critical, as claying a dirty surface is one of the easiest ways to introduce marring and potentially mark the vehicle.
  2. Work panel by panel with Hydra Essence
Whilst the car is still wet, or on a cool, dry surface, spray Hydra Essence generously onto one panel at a time. This acts as your lubricant while also helping break down iron and embedded contamination. Allow the product to dwell for roughly 1–2 minutes. As it reacts, you'll see it bleed iron from the surface.
  3. Clay using the Clay Block
Whilst the Hydra Essence is reacting, gently glide the Clay Block over the lubricated surface using light pressure. You should feel the surface start to smooth out as contamination is removed.
  4. Keep the surface well lubricated. If it starts to feel grabby, apply more Hydra Essence.
  5. Rinse the mitt regularly to release built-up contamination.
  6. Rinse or wipe down residue
Once claying is complete, you can give the car a quick rinse or move straight to the prep stage.
  7. Prep the surface with Hades Veil
Spray Hades Veil onto the panel or directly into an Aquatouch General Microfibre, then wipe the surface down.

NOTE: As a general rule, we wouldn’t recommend claying matte or satin finishes, and you’ll want to be a bit more cautious around delicate areas like exposed edges or heavily damaged paint. But for the majority of vehicles, this is a safe and effective way to get that properly smooth, clean surface. If you’re looking for a decon kit that’s easy to follow, doesn’t rely on harsh chemistry, and actually leaves your paint feeling the way it should - this is a solid place to start.
