No matter how carefully you look after your vehicle, normal wear and tear is inevitable. Every drive exposes your car to natural and man-made contaminants like pollution and debris that degrade the exterior protections already in place, like the clear coat that comes standard on most vehicles. To counteract the effects of everyday exposure, a number of paint protections can be applied as a buffer to the elements and some of these fall under our car cut and polish products.
A cut and polish is the process of paint correction where an extremely fine layer of your clear coat is ‘cut’ back or levelled down using cutting and polishing compounds so that you can start over with a fresh, smoothed layer of clear coat. This, in effect, removes the scratches, swirls, oxidisation and most etching that was present before that gives your car that unwanted weathered look.
